Some people choose to turn themselves into a leopard, others like the face of a tiger, or even turn into a zombie.
Dennis Avner (1958-2012), famous in the US for facial surgery, mouth, teeth and combined with tattoos to make his face like a tiger. Avner operated 14 times, achieving a world record for "most animal-like permanent transformation".
Avner was a sonar specialist in the US Navy
After being discharged from the army, Avner worked as a All products computer programmer and technician in San Diego, California. He said the tiger tattoo was a way for him to fit in with the ancient Wyandot traditions of Native Americans.
Rick Genest, born July 1985 in Canada. It took him over $3,000 and 24 hours for the tattoo artist to turn him into a zombie. Before the tattoo, Genest was diagnosed with a brain tumor and is expected to live no more than half a year. He wandered around and decided to get a skeleton tattoo, and then other tattoos to look like a zombie.

Genest has appeared in many music clips of the star Lady Gaga. Currently Genest is out of danger due to brain tumor, and is about to release a music album.
Julia Gnuse, born in 1959, lives in California, USA. The skin disease caused her to have many scars on her body, to cover them, Gnuse decided to get a tattoo. She is recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records as the person with the most tattoos on her body.
The tattoos include posters of her favorite movies, favorite actors, and self-portraits. She also had a small scene in the video for the song Pink by the famous rock band Aerosmith.
Eric Sprague
born in June 1972 in the US. This man had eyebrow surgery, split his tongue, implanted horns under his skin, tattooed to become a reptile. To do all of this, Sprague spends more than 700 hours on tattoo artists.
Sprague and his wife live in Texas with a pet ferret. He made a living by performing, with sword swallowing, fire-breathing, and insect-eating.
Tom Leppard, 73 years old, was once considered the most tattooed person in the world. He left city life, living alone on an island in Scotland until 2008.
Leppard currently lives in a house in Broadford, Skye, Scotland.
Horace Ridler
a British World War I veteran who turned himself into a zebra. Ridler once said: "Beneath these tattoos, I am a completely normal person". Rider died in 1969.
Lucky Diamond Rich, whose tattoo covers his entire body. Hundreds of tattooists custom baseball uniforms spent thousands of hours tattooing colors on him. Now, Lucky smears everything in black, including his gums, the skin between his toes, his eyelids, and his ears.
Paul Lawrence
living in Seattle, USA, started getting blue tattoos all over his body in December 1992. Lawrence is famous for dangerous stunts such as swallowing swords, nailing nails to his nose, swallowing liquids into his stomach, pumping them out and swallowing them back. Lawrence is also a musician.
Katzen, 35, has a full tattoo of a tiger on her body, wearing a tiger beard. Katzen was previously married to Paul Lawrence, but the two are now separated. Katzen is working at a tattoo art shop in Austin, Texas, USA.
Etienne Dumont, born 1948, is an art critic for a newspaper in Geneva, Switzerland. In 1974, this man tattooed his entire body with what he considered the most vibrant, wearing a pair of rings with a diameter of 6.7 cm on each earlobe.
